Location: Shops of ESSELUNGA chain located in the municipalities of Biella, Bologna, S. Donato Milanese, Milan.

The investigation was carried out with the aim of:

• Describe the state of affairs of the roof gardens of the shops, both in their overall appearance and in the individual elements of which the stratigraphy is composed, to obtain information on their technical functionality;
• Research the biological and agronomic factors that interfere with the development of vegetation in Sedum and that over time lead to a reduction in the vegetation cover of the species used in the installation.
