The Giardini dell’Alba park, part of an urban redevelopment project in a section of Riccione, offers a new landscape created using a metaphor for the area’s naturally forming sand dunes covered in wind-driven spontaneous vegetation. The use of rigorously hi-tech materials and a planting scheme inspired by Burle Marx’s organic artwork has made the gardens a dramatic backdrop for the city.
